SPLINE
Contemporary form starts as a Spline.
A spline is a ling thin piece of metal or wood, used to create smooth curves between points. Used in boatbuilding and coachbuilding in the past
And splines are at the source of modern computer developed form, the natural material properties of bent wood being replaced by mathematics.
These objects do not use splines as the source of form: spiles are the form. Naturally combining, again produced with ocean sound used to flex each one into shape.
